We treat personal data as absolutely confidential. We request only data relevant to the purpose and comply with the legal requirements. Your name, address, telephone number and fax number or e-mail address are examples of data that you provide to us. Proof of occupation is required for access to specialist information. We store your account data for the processing of payments in connection with our events and for payment transactions in general business operations (e.g. suppliers, orders).

These include, for example, Internet Protocol address (IP address), date and time of the request, time-zone offset from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific site), access status/HTTP-status code, data volume transmitted in each case, website from which the request originates, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software. These types of data help us improve and stabilise our website and ensure security. This data is anonymous, meaning that it cannot be traced back to individual persons.

Transmission to third parties
We will not transmit your data to third parties who are not working with us for the purposes of processing the order. All employees and third parties are obliged to treat your data confidentially and with respect.

We use your data for other purposes only if you have already been informed in detail regarding the purpose of the use and have explicitly consented to it.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.

Further information concerning the terms and conditions of use and data privacy can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or at https://policies.google.com/?hl=en. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics code is supplemented by “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking).

Google Maps
We have integrated the Google Maps service into our website. This allows us to display interactive maps to you directly on our website. When you visit our website, Google obtains the information that you have accessed a particular subpage of our website. This occurs regardless of whether you are logged in via a user account that Google provided to you or whether no such user account exists. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish the association with your Google profile to be made, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data in the form of a use profile and uses this for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. In particular, an analysis of this kind takes place (even for users who are not logged in) for the purposes of delivering needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities at our website. You have the right to object to the creation of this user profile; to exercise this right you must contact Google. You will find further information in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en. As Google processes your personal data in the USA as well as the EU, it has subscribed to EU-US Privacy Shield: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
